External Extracurricular Activitivities
Chicago Bar Association: CBA Law & Debate Club A rigorous program for Chicago-area high school students to develop negotiation and debate skills and learn about careers in the law and Government. The Club’s programming is coordinated by volunteer attorneys who meet with students and facilitate role plays concerning legal and ethical questions.

My Role: Debater, Law and Debate Club Committee Member

Key Learning: Organization of ideas, and structuring of speech to make a convincing argument
Patient Relation Representative
Advocate Condell Medical Center, Gastro-Intestinal Surgery Unit HealthCare System located in LibertyVille, Illinois with over 600+ physicians and specialists
My Role: Volunteers assist with communicating the patient status after surgery to the families, making up clean beds/carts, patient packets, discharging patients after procedures to the Main Lobby (they have the nice Stryker wheelchairs!) and other department assistance
Key Learning: Precise and stay true-to-fact communication to anxious families, timeliness and operating at a high intense environment
